Legacy Competitive Points introduced in Overwatch 2 Season 9 are available in Season 10 as well and they’re more useful than ever. To stack up on this valuable currency, here’s how to get Legacy Competitive Points in Overwatch 2 Season 10.

Overwatch 2 Season 10 has arrived with a ton of new content, ranging from Battle Pass cosmetics and Hero changes to event modes and a theme.

On top of this, the developers have tweaked the Legacy Competitive Points and to get your hands on some of the best-looking weapons in the game, you’d want to collect as many coins as possible.

On that note, here’s how to earn Legacy Competitive Points in Overwatch 2 Season 10.

How to earn Legacy Competitive Points in OW2

Legacy Competitive Points can only be earned in Overwatch 2 by converting regular Competitive Points into the new currency. These are acquired by winning Ranked matches and based on a player’s final ranking at the end of a season.

Overwatch 2 Season 10 brought a major Competitive overhaul.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this manually, as it only happens at specific times decided by Blizzard. The first of these took place at the start of Season 9, as players will have found that all of their existing Competitive Points had been changed to the Legacy version.

Blizzard have confirmed that the next chance to get them will be when the “2024 Competitive Year closes.” Once the 2025 calendar begins, any Competitive Points left unspent from the previous year will be automatically changed into Legacy Points.

What are Legacy Competitive Points in OW2?

Legacy Competitive Points are a brand-new currency used to purchase Golden Guns in Overwatch 2. This was previously done with regular points, but these are now needed for the new Jade variants introduced with Season 9.

With Season 10, the developers have implemented a new mechanic that lets you purchase Golden guns either through Legacy Competitive Points or 2024 Competitive Points. You won’t be able to purchase these variants with a combination of both currencies.
