Even if he’s not in the initial Mortal Kombat 1 roster, Shang Tsung is still one of the most legendary villains of the franchise. Luckily for players, there’s an easy way to unlock him. Here’s how to get Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 1.

While Mortal Kombat 1 rebooted the whole franchise’s timeline, it didn’t even try to change the legendary villain Shang Tsung. Making his debut in 1992 with Mortal Kombat‘s first version, his campy demeanor, and dangerous skills are still what fans love the most about this iconic character.

Despite not being included in the initial Mortal Kombat 1 roster, Shang Tsung is one of the deadliest characters to encounter. With the ability to pull off an almost 90 Hit Combo, the evil sorcerer has quickly become a fan-favorite once again.

If you want to know how to get Shang Tsung and play as him in Mortal Kombat 1, here’s what you’ll need to do.
