Who is Ruan Mei in Honkai Star Rail? Leaked 5-star character abilities & more

Honkai Star Rail leaks suggest that players will soon be able to play as a new five-star character known as Ruan Mei, and we’ll break down everything that we know about her, including her leaked skills and abilities.

After hopping into Honkai Star Rail, you’ll be able to meet plenty of great characters that will be part of your team, and each of them brings their own unique abilities, elements, and paths that you’ll discover while playing the game.

Honkai Star Rail already features a diverse cast of teammates, and it’s expected that the developers will add even more in the future. Now, leaks are pointing toward the arrival of a character called Ruan Mei in the game.

Honkai Star Rail Ruan Mei leaked abilities

According to notable leaker ‘Mero,’ Ruan Mei is a five-star Ice harmony character who will be added to Honkai Star Rail. In this same leak, her Skill, Ultimate, Talent, and Technique were also detailed, revealing that she serves as a Support character in the game.

Here’s everything the leak reveals about Ruan Mei’s abilities:

• Skill: Increases damage dealt by the entire team.
• Ultimate: Deploys a barrier that increases the whole team’s ATK within its range. Enemies are marked when their shields are broken, increasing their weakened state durations.
• Talent: Increases damage dealt by the entire team to weakened enemies.
• Technique: Deploys a barrier that eliminates enemies within its range. Combat inside the barrier increases the entire team’s Break Effect for several rounds.

At the time of writing, it’s unclear when exactly Ruan Mei is set to arrive in Honkai Star Rail. We don’t expect to see her arrive soon as characters like Kafka and Silver Wolf are lined up to arrive in coming updates.

Ruan Mei’s name and other information seem to suggest that she’s a Xianzhou resident. So, it’s possible that after she’s added, players will be able to meet this teammate during their journey through Xianzhou Luofu.

It’s worth keeping in mind that all of this information is based entirely on leaks, and none of it has been officially confirmed by the Honkai Star Rails developers themselves. So, be sure to take it with a grain of salt until we hear something official.
