Hogwarts Legacy different appearances

Hogwarts Legacy gives players the opportunity to change their in-game appearance via character customization settings. Here’s how to alter your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy.

Those with early access are already beginning their Hogwarts Legacy journeys. Part of that journey involves choosing your own wand, learning how to fly, and getting started with classes at Hogwarts.

You’ll have the opportunity to customize your own character from the get-go. In addition, you can make changes to your character as the story progresses.

Here’s what players need to know about changing their appearance and customizing their character in Hogwarts Legacy.

How does Hogwarts Legacy character customization work?

Hogwarts Legacy players will get a chance to customize their character at the very start of their journey. Your customization choices at the start of the game are incredibly important seeing as some will stick with you for the entirety of your journey.

While changing appearance and certain aspects of your character throughout your playthrough is possible, there are certain things you won’t be able to change.

You will not be able to change your face shape, skin color, voice tone, pitch, and dormitory assignment. When selecting the aforementioned features, you’re going to want to double-check your choices. These aspects are permanent and your choices from the character creation screen will remain.

When it comes to simple adjustments, like a change of hairstyle or color, you can do so at any time throughout your Hogwarts Legacy experience.

Hogwarts Legacy customization even allows you to change the shape of your character’s eyebrows.

How to change appearance in Hogwarts Legacy

To change your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy you’ll need in-game cash, otherwise known as Galleons.

Follow these steps to change certain aspects of your appearance in Hogwarts Legacy:

  1. Save some cash in Hogwarts Legacy.
  2. Visit a barbershop or beautician.
  3. Speak to the shop owner.
  4. Decide if you want to change hair color, hairstyle, eye color, eyebrow shape, or any other available options.
  5. Pay for the services.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open world game and players can find barbershops or beauticians marked with scissors on their map. These shops will mostly be found in the game’s major towns and areas.

Hogsmeade will be the most popular and the earliest example of this in Hogwarts Legacy. You’ll find Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium in Hogsmeade where you can speak to Calliope Snelling to change your appearance.

Changing your hairstyle, hair color, or any of the other options mentioned above will set cost 20 Galleons.
