GTA 6 is one of the most-anticipated games in development today, despite the fact we know very little about it. But a voice actor claiming to be working on the upcoming sequel has said that the first trailer might be coming sooner than first thought.

Although it is one of the most talked-about games in recent memory, we still know precious little about GTA 6. Without any concrete details to go on, fans have been looking to leaks for any small amount of information they can get hold of.

Now, hot on the heels of the GTA Remastered Trilogy rumors, a voice actor who had previously claimed to have a role in GTA 6, is saying that the game’s first trailer is right around the corner.

Voice actor Dave Jackson claimed recently that he is playing a new character in GTA 6. In a Facebook post, he announced that he is allegedly portraying Captain McClane, the chief of police in whichever location the game ends up taking place.

Jackson later took the post down, saying he was “bombarded” with reporters looking for details on the next Grand Theft Auto title. But he did leave fans with another little tease.

The post said that the game’s producers had given him permission to “spread the word” that a new trailer is coming soon, hinting that fans of the series should look out for its release in the near future.

It remains to be seen if Jackson’s claims prove to be true. As it stands there is no official confirmation from Rockstar about his role in GTA 6, or whether or not a trailer is really planned to release soon.

As known leaker Tom Henderson said on Twitter, the fact that actors are supposedly only just being cast for the upcoming game hints that it may be “much earlier” in development than previously reported. This could mean that a full trailer is actually some way off.

That being said, with GTA 5 Enhanced Edition releasing on November 11, Rockstar might see the next few months as the ideal time to start building even more hype with a short teaser. Stay tuned on Charlie INTEL for all the latest updates.
