The Finals players beg devs to extend “amazing” beta

The Finals has made a lasting impression on players with the Open Beta, so much so that the community are now begging for the devs to extend the trial period.
The Finals is Embark Studios’ upcoming free-to-play FPS game that places emphasis on speed and teamwork. Players can choose between three builds and various weapons to dominate lobbies, collect and deposit cash, and ultimately reach the finals for a chance at victory.
The Open Beta for The Finals landed on October 26, and since then, players have been hooked, so much so that the title has even placed higher than Call of Duty on Steam’s most played chart.
But the beta won’t last forever, as it’s set to end on November 5, 2023. Following the announcement of a Halloween event in the Open Beta for the game, players have been begging devs to extend the beta period.
Players call for The Finals Open Beta extension
Under The Finals Halloween event trailer on X, players have been expressing their fondness for the game, with players calling it “amazing,” and one comment that read, “this game is seriously Growing on me. Leave the beta on for like…ever.”
Another also begged the devs to extend the beta and launch the game, as they said, “Pls don’t end this beta just drop the game and update on it pls.”
Another comment shared a similar sentiment, “Imma cry when the beta is over, just promise to release the game before the year ends pretty please.”
While there’s no official release date for the game yet, some feel it’s “ready for launch.” Some players have expressed impatience, with one player commenting, “this beta stuff needs to stop,” as they “need this game released already.”
