Tekken 8 players mock “Boosie fade” plaguing online matches
Bandai NamcoTekken 8 offers players an abundance of cosmetics when it comes to character customization, and players are finding one of the options hilarious.
There’s a lot to do in Tekken 8, as players can either test their skills online in Ranked, meet up with friends in the Tekken Fight Lounge, or enjoy offline game modes such as the Story and Arcade Quest.
One of the bonus features in Tekken 8 that players love is the customization. Not only can players customize their avatars and player cards, but they can also customize outfits for the full roster of characters.
This allows you to make your own style for your characters, and there are a lot of options to choose from. Whether you want to change your character’s eye color or clothing, Tekken 8 allows you to do that. In fact, there’s also an option to change your character’s hairstyle.
One of these hairstyles is causing quite the commotion, as players are finding the “Buzz Cut” especially hilarious, drawing comparisons to popular rapper Boosie’s iconic fade.
It’s a very popular customization option in Tekken 8, so much so that X user ‘BigSkonk’ posted a funny clip montage clip of players using the hairstyle with R&B music in the background, as they said, “Namco should’ve never put the Boosie fade in Tekken 8.”
The clip has been doing the rounds, and some in the comments are also getting sick of the hairstyle being on every male character in the game when they match another player online.
One Tekken 8 player said, “Everywhere I go, I see his fade,” while another commented, “Man the character customizations in this game are so unserious.”
Some have found the edit very comical, with many laughing faces in the comments and one player that said, “The slow spin on the bike has me in f**king tears.”
Tekken 8 players have been making all kinds of outfits for characters, some have even made some valiant attempts at making other characters from games and popular cultures such as Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil and Goku from Dragon Ball Z.
