Skull and Bones, the new pirate game from Ubisoft, has a huge map to explore with many regions packing different challenges. To make this open world less frustrating, here are all the regions found in the Skull and Bones map.

Skull and Bones is a new pirate adventure from Ubisoft inspired by Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s naval combat. Players can now join others in deep-sea adventures on the Indian Ocean.

Being an open-world game, the Skull and Bones map and all its challenges can be overwhelming. With almost 625 square kilometers to explore and sail, S&B is one of Ubisoft’s biggest maps to date.

To simplify things with the map in Skull and Bones, we have assembled all regions and their contents in the following guide. Read, relax, and sail the seas, free like a pirate.

All regions in Skull and Bones

The Skull and Bones map is divided into five big groups, and each one can be unlocked by natural progression and exploration. Even with everyone starting in The Red Isles region, once you finish the tutorial you are free to sail the world as you see fit.

Here’s every Skull and Bones region alongside its maps and contents:

The Red Isles

Once every player finishes the tutorial, they will start their game in the smallest and Madagascar-inspired central region of the map: The Red Isles.
