Like every other gacha title, Wuthering Waves version 1.0 is fairly humble in scope, with 17 characters and a major region in Huanglong. But it’ll only continue to grow, and the upcoming updates will pile up the game size.

Wuthering Waves is currently around 9.59 GB on Android and iOS devices, depending on the amount of audio packs you’ve installed. It can go up to 10 GB if you fancy all the audio packs.

Wuthering Waves storage requirements on PC

On PC, Wuthering Waves is around 20 GB, and it’ll be higher if you’ve more audio packs installed. It is recommended to have around 30 GB of free space to run the game properly and to ensure you don’t run out of storage right in the next update.

How to reduce Wuthering Waves size on PC and mobile

There are no methods to reduce the file size of Wuthering Waves on PC and mobile. Your best bet would be to check for any additional audio packs you may have installed and keep them as few as possible. 

To delete any audio packs, follow these steps: 

1. Click on the “Terminal” icon, right above your ping.
2. Then click on “Settings.”
3. Head to “Language Settings” tab, it’ll be the second last tab.
4. Click on “Manage Voice Packs.”
5. Finally, select the voice pack you no longer need and hit the “Uninstall” button.

There are four different voice packs, with each around 160 MB. While they may not be much now, their size will increase a lot in the future, so make sure to keep them in check.
