Wuthering Waves: How to get Echo Starter Pack for free

To get the Echo Starter Pack for free in Wuthering Waves, you need to follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the Epic Games Store.
2. Go to the Wuthering Waves page and click ‘Get‘ to add it to our Library.
3. Go to the ‘Add-ons‘ tab on the Wuthering Waves page.
4. Click on Echo Starter Pack.
5. Click ‘Get.’

You’ll receive an email on the address associated with your Epic Games account, containing a code to redeem through the game’s Settings. Players need to reach Union Level 2 to unlock the Code Redemption feature, so keep that in mind. You’ll reach that point when you’re completing the Utterance of Marvels II mission in Act 1 of Chapter 1.

You can still play the game on other platforms or download the dedicated client from the official website on PC, but you’ll need to add Wuthering Waves to your Epic Game Store library if you want to get the free content.

The Premium Tuner and the Advance Sealed Tube are items to enhance Echoes and unlock their sub-stats.

What are Echoes in Wuthering Waves?

Echoes are items in Wuthering Waves that you can equip your characters with to get stat boosts alongside buffs or even additional abilities. They work like Artifacts in Genshin Impact or Relics in Honkai Star Rail.

Echoes have different rarities that determine their cost, and you’ll increase the maximum available cost when leveling up. This is the main restriction, as you won’t be able to equip any Echo you want if you exceed the limit.

Sonata Effects are bonuses that activate when you equip two Echoes from the same set. On the other hand, to level Echoes up, you’ll need to spend specific materials. This is called tuning in Wuthering Waves, and it can unlock sub-stats for Echoes.

At launch, there are a total of 52 Echoes, but it’s safe to assume that the devs will add more with the coming updates.

Wuthering Waves players have until June 23, 2024, at 8:59 AM PDT / 11:59 AM EDT / 4:59 PM BST to get the game in the Epic Games Store and receive the free Echo Starter Pack.
