The best weapons in Archero are the ones that help you clear out enemies easily while granting you defense bonuses at the same time.

This idle-RPG rogue-like game from Habby tasks you with defeating monsters across different levels using powerups that you unlock with the XP you get from killing enemies.

The game features a limited number of weapons, all of which are upgradeable. However, upgrading all of them can be a tedious process so here’s a tier list that will help you identify the best weapons to upgrade.

• C: These weapons are okay as starter weapons, but it’s not worth upgrading them. Instead, wait until you get a better weapon and switch it out.

Best weapons explained

Tornado

Tornado is a shuriken that behaves like a boomerang and returns to your hand after you’ve thrown it. It doesn’t travel too far and its damage depends upon the upgrades that you unlock during the rounds.

Brave Bow

The Brave Bow is the weapon that you’ll start your journey in Archero with. It’s got a slow rate of fire and doesn’t deal enough damage. However, it’s got a decent amount of range, so you’ll be able to hit enemies at a distance too.

Mini Atreus

The Mini Atreus had the potential to be one of the best weapons in the game because of its skills. However, apart from slowing down the target, the rest of the skills like the gold bonus or summoning a character to help you in battle are restricted to the Mythic variant only, and even then it depends on a set chance.

Saw Blade

The Saw Blade is one of the fastest weapons in Archero but has low damage output. This weapon shines on maps with a lot of open spaces. However, if you’re on a map with a lot of walls, you’ll have to continuously reposition yourself to land a hit on the enemy.

Death Scythe

This weapon deals a lot of damage but is the slowest weapon in the game. Although it can eliminate an enemy with two hits, the time between two shots is a lot, giving the enemy enough time to attack you and chop away at your health.

Celestial Might

The Celestial Might is one of the newer weapons in the game and is one of the highest damage dealers that you will come across. It’s slightly slow, but it has two forms that can deal AoE and single-target damage respectively.

Stalker Staff

This weapon launches attacks that can track enemies and attack them. It’s a powerful weapon that works well against smaller enemies and bosses, especially the ones that move around all over the map.

Brightspear

The Brightspear has the highest damage per shot and there’s little delay between the projectile being launched and it hitting the enemy. The only downside is that the weapon’s attack animation is slow, making it slightly difficult to control.

Gale Force

The Gale Force is the only Crossbow in the game but it has a low attack speed. Just like the other weapons, it automatically fires arrows which deal a moderate amount of damage. However, if you charge before firing every shot, then you’ll be able to obliterate the enemy instantly.

Antiquated Sword

The Antiquated Sword has quickly become one of the best weapons in Archero, thanks to its high damage output and versatility. The one-handed form of this weapon is brilliant for quick attacks while the two-handed version increases range.

At higher rarities, you’ll even get buffs in your Max HP, Attack Speed, Crit Chance, and other valuable stats.

Demon Blade

The Demon Blade is another great choice that you can’t go wrong with since it can deal melee as well as long-range damage with the same efficiency. At higher rarities, it deals more damage to enemies with bigger HP pools which feels like a cheat code.

Habby

The Demon Blade saves you from collision damage at melee ranges, effectively converting your weaknesses into strengths and this is why it’s one of the best weapons you can have in the game.

Expedition Fist

The Expedition Fist is still a fairly new addition to the roster of weapons and is so powerful that it unleashes explosive punches that deal massive damage to enemies. The punches can also create shockwaves that can hit multiple enemies at once, making it great for crowd control.

At higher rarities, the Expedition Fist can increase your Crit Damage, Attack Speed, and Knockback Resistance, making you more formidable and unstoppable.
