LEGO Fortnite lets build their own settlements from scratch and fill them with villagers to help out, but how many can you have? Here’s the maximum number of villagers available in LEGO Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 brought a ton of content to the game, from an overhauled map to a fresh Battle Pass full of cosmetics and skins. But the real revelation has been the LEGO mode, bringing a slice of Minecraft to Epic’s popular battle royale.

LEGO Fortnite lets players gather valuable resources to build their own tools and create a home, before defending it from wild monsters. Settlements can also be populated with villagers to help share the load, but how many can you recruit?

Here’s the maximum number of villagers in LEGO Fortnite.

The maximum number of villagers available in LEGO Fortnite is five. Once your village hits this number you won’t be able to hire any more NPCs, unless you decide to kick a current occupant to make room for them.

That being said, there is a way you can around this rule if you’re willing to put in some extra effort.

Villagers can help your settlements thrive in LEGO Fortnite.

Although a village can only be home to five villagers at once in Fortnite, you have the option to build multiple villages as long as they are far enough apart. However, there is still a limit of 15 villagers per world, so this can’t be infintly exploited.

With this in mind, it’s possible to have three completely separate villagers with five NPCs each, allowing you to triple the manpower and collect more resources, assign more jobs, and defend your settlements with ease.

It isn’t clear exactly how far apart villages must be spaced, but the LEGO Fortnite map is large enough that you should have no trouble making room.
