Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 introduced LEGO Fortnite, the new game mode that encourages players to create their unique worlds while building and upgrading their own villages. However, these maps are huge and players found that there are also several tools available to explore every biome much faster than doing it by foot.

The Glider is a popular option that lets players float and navigate effortlessly through air currents. These are quite helpful for traveling long distances and can be unlocked quite easily at the beginning of your LEGO Fortnite World.

LEGO Fortnite: How to build a Glider

Before starting to gather materials to build a Glider in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to have both the Loom and Spinning Wheel machines to craft it. If you want to unlock the Glider recipe, you’ll need the following materials to craft them first:

Spinning Wheel:
- 5x Wood
- 5x Wooden Rod
- 8x Plank
- 5x Wolf Claw
Loom:
- 19x Flexwood
- 8x Flexwood Rod
- 6x Sand Claw

You’ll find the Loom and Spinning Wheel recipes in your Utility menu while building.

Once you’ve got both utilities, you’re going to be able to craft a Glider. Here’s what you need to get to make it in LEGO Fortnite:

How to use Glider in LEGO Fortnite

After crafting your Glider in LEGO Fortnite, you have to equip it in one of your equipment slots. If you want to use it, you’ll need to find a tall place and then press a button to activate the Glider to fly through air currents.

You’ll see a prompt at the right of your screen that allows you to use your Glider.

Keep in mind that Gliding costs Stamina, and you’ll drop after your Stamina bar is empty.
