Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is in full swing as Epic Game have been spoiling players with a steady flow of content. From new maps to a new LEGO Fortnite game mode, the devs did not let returning fans from the OG Season go away that easily.

LEGO Fortnite is the new Minecraft-inspired sandbox game mode, where you will have to survive the harsh conditions of various biomes oozing with monsters and deadly wildlife. The only way to survive here is by building everything you need from scratch.

Tools are a necessity while building, whereas weapons are the only way you can protect yourself in the biomes. However, these items will keep losing durability upon use until they become useless and break.

Is it possible to repair tools & weapons in LEGO Fortnite?

No, you cannot repair your tools and weapons in LEGO Fortnite after the patch on December 12. Previously there was a glitch that allowed players to repair their eroded tools and weapons, but the devs have made sure to patch the exploit, preserving the essence of a true sandbox.

Before the update, people were using the chest glitch to repair their items, where a player had to build a chest and store all of their used weapons and tools in it. Then they disintegrated the chest by breaking it with their bare hands and found that all of the eroded items had been fully repaired.

However, Epic Games made sure to quickly patch it and turn the game back to how it was supposed to be played. On December 13, the devs buffed the durability of all the tools and weapons in LEGO Fortnite by 30%.

This means that all the new tools and weapons that players crafted after the patch would not be repaired through the chest glitch, but would have their durability boosted by 30% in the game.
