To Rocket Ride in Fortnite, all you have to do is jump onto a rocket after it’s been fired as it travels through the air. However, this is easier said than done and will require precise timing to pull off consistently.

The easiest way to Rocket Ride is by coordinating with a teammate in either Duos, Trios, or Squads, but those who like to live dangerously can also perform the trick on an enemy rocket.

Here’s how to Rocket Ride in Fortnite:

1. Land in a Fortnite match and find a Rocket Launcher.
2. Stand with your back to a teammate holding an RPG.
3. Jump into the air.
4. At the height of your jump, get the teammate to fire.
5. Land on the rocket and ride off across the map.

While this may seem like nothing more than a fun trick to troll lobbies with, Rocket Riding actually has its advantages. Not only does it let you move quickly across the map, it can be ideal for getting the drop on enemy teams.

If you’re surfing on a teammate’s rocket, you won’t be damaged by the resulting explosion as there’s no friendly fire in Fortnite. This means you can destroy a rival team’s build or inflict plenty of damage before emerging from the smoke to finish them off.
