The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map features multiple biomes with an abundance of loot in the form of weapons and other utility items. However, players have expressed their concerns about one particular aspect of the map.

With every new season in Fortnite, the map also keeps changing. This is done so that it accurately reflects the overall theme for the season. However, players have expressed a few concerns about the current status of the map.

In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, the map has five different boss lairs. Inside these lairs, you will find a lot of smaller AI-controlled minions guarding the boss. Players have started to complain about the density of these mobs.

According to Faithlessness4621 on Reddit, the current map feels very bland. They further stated that it was very annoying to see almost every POI littered with AI-controlled Society Guards. Others agreed, saying the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map needs fewer of these Society Guards.

However, others had a different opinion about the same. They felt that apart from the bosses, these Society Guards didn’t have enough health and shouldn’t be a problem. There was a small debate about how players kept getting “third partied” by other players because of these guards.

Others countered that by saying that Fortnite was a combat game, and the map was designed in such a way that players had a lot of ways to approach any combat situation. Sniping players while hiding in a bush was one of them.

They also explained that “third partying” was an aspect of combat games as well. For example, if someone is engaging a group of these Society Guards, then anyone within range of the fight will be able to see it, and possibly take advantage of it too.

Players also noted that the map shifted from a suburban American style to a European style layout over the past few seasons. This, however, is a change that most players have appreciated so far.

That said, the map will change once again after Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 ends. So it will be interesting to see how the map changes once the new season goes live.
