Fortnite OG has been a major hit with the community, with many players calling for an OG mode to be added to the game permanently. Throughout Chapter 4 Season 5, fans have been taken on a journey through time, revisiting a new era of Chapter 1 with each passing update.
Now, with The Big Bang live event and Chapter 5 looming, Epic are gearing up to drop the last Fortnite OG update on November 23. This time, the final stop on the tour brings back content from Chapter 1 Season 9 and Season X.

Fortnite November 23 update release time
The Fortnite November 23 update is scheduled to go live at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM GMT, as confirmed by the devs when the 27.11 patch was released on November 21. As the content for the update was already added in the previous patch, there will be no downtime this time around.
Fortnite November 23 update expected map changes
Epic Games are yet to confirm the map changes arriving in the Fortnite November 23 update, but since it focuses on the original Season 9 and Season X, there are a handful of POIs that could return.
Chapter 1 Season 9 brought a futuristic vibe to the island by overhauling the popular Tilted Towers and Retail Row into Neo Tilted and Mega Mall respectively. Based on how the previous Fortnite OG updates have played out, these locations could make a return for the final week of the season.
The Pressure Plant POI also arrived back in Chapter 1 Season 9, replacing the volcano that was found on that spot before. However, since that is where Tomato Temple and Wailing Woods are currently located, it’s likely to come back.

Epic GamesThe devs have confirmed that the Fortnite November 23 update will add a ton of weapons from Chapter 1 Seasons 9 and X. So far, the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Proximity Grenade Launcher, Air Strike, and Junk Rift have all been announced.
Meanwhile, the update is also bringing back the Storm Flip, which can create a safe pocket when outside the circle or bring the storm into the safe zone, as well as the Jetpack. Players will also be able to use the Baller vehicles to get around the island quickly once again.
