The MP5 is a CoD staple and an incredibly popular SMG in Warzone 2. Now, FaZe member Ean ‘Booya’ Chase has shown off an MP5 loadout with a TTK to rival the meta Fennec 45.

Warzone 2 has a varied arsenal of weapons for players to use, all of which are suited to fights at different ranges. LMGs and Sniper Rifles are long-range beasts for taking enemies from a distance, while Shotguns and SMGs are perfect for getting up close and personal.

Since the battle royale sequel launched at the end of 2022, the close-range meta has been dominated by the Fennec 45, thanks to its blistering fire rate that can down enemies in seconds.

Now, CoD expert FaZe Booya has revealed a loadout for the Lachmann Sub, better known as the MP5, which can rival the Fennec’s TTK.

The MP5 is a CoD staple and is always one of the most popular SMGs in any game it appears in. But despite its impressive 4.5% pick rate in Warzone 2, Fennec 45 is still comfortably the top close-range weapon in the game.

However, FaZe Booya has come with up a setup that kills just as quickly, and even offers some advantages that could see the classic sub become the number one.

Describing the build in an upload to his YouTube channel, Booya said it was a “very fast SMG, I think it has the same time-to-kill as the Fennec and you have a little more ammo.” He also claimed his loadout has “very, very good recoil control.”

Check out FaZe Booya’s best MP5 loadout in Warzone 2 below:

  • Barrel: L38 Falcon 226mm
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Stock: Recoil-56 Factory Stock
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10

Booya kicked off his MP5 loadout with the L38 Falcon 226mm barrel and VLK LZR 7mW laser, drastically buffing the ADS speed to make the SMG feel extremely snappy and in close-quarters fights.

Then, he added the Recoil-56 Factory stock and Lachmann TCG-10 rear grip to improve the recoil control, giving it the edge over the Fennec in more mid-range encounters. Finally, the 50 Round Drum increases the ammo capacity, allowing you to delete multiple enemies without having to worry about reloading.

It’s been heavily speculated that the Fennec 45 will receive a long-awaited nerf with the Season 2 update, alongside the RPK. With this in mind, now could be the perfect time to switch the MP5 in Warzone 2, before it becomes even more widely used.
