Diablo 4 has plenty of dungeons to explore to get Aspects to boost your character’s abilities. Shifting City is a great location to complete when you’re starting, or you’re trying to beat one location quickly. Here’s how to get to the Shifting City dungeon in Diablo 4 Season 1.

Diablo 4 Season 1 has more than 120 dungeons scattered around Sanctuary’s map. These locations are interesting challenges that will give you Aspects and experience points quickly. You’ll find that different dungeons can be quite easy to complete with the right build, although there are some locations that are perfect when you’re playing a quick session of Diablo 4.

Shifting City Dungeon is a medium-sized location that will be available for those who are wandering in the Dry Steppes region. Here’s what you’ve got to know about the Shifting City location and how to complete it in Diablo 4 Season 1.

How to complete Shifting City Dungeon in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Shifting City Dungeon will give you a couple of challenges that you must complete in order to unlock its reward. These are:

  • Return the two Ancients Statues to the pedestal
  • Travel to the Ruins of Anguish
  • Collect Animus from Animus Carriers
  • Deposit Animus into the Animus Urn
  • Defeat the Tomb Lord

Shifting City Dungeon requires a lot of walking around and backtracking in some areas. Make sure to clean the area for demons so you don’t get swarmed. The first objective of Shifting City is for you to look for the Ancient Statues, which you can only take one at a time.

After you finish returning them to the pedestal, you’ll have to collect Animus from Animus Carriers. You’ll get Animus while defeating elite monsters and depositing what they drop into the Animus Urn.

This is when the Tomb Lord will spawn, a demonic boss you have to defeat to finish the Shifting City challenges. Even if this monster is quite fragile, try to avoid its AoE attacks and the bone walls that it’ll use to trap you. Keep in mind that the Tomb Lord can make these walls explode once you’re close to them.
