Diablo 4: How to reset Dungeons

Diablo 4 Season 2 is here with a spooky theme, Vampiric Powers, and a lot more but that hasn’t reduced the importance of farming Dungeons to unlock the best gear. To help you in the process, here’s how to reset Dungeons and clear them repeatedly for XP, Legendary items, and more.

Diablo 4 players can finally check out the new Vampiric Powers, endgame bosses, and the Blood Harvest event with the launch of Season 2. Sanctuary is now infected by Vampires and you’ll need Legendary items, XP, and Aspects to fight them off.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Dungeons are one of the best ways to not only test the skills of your characters but also get the items that’ll further boost their power. To make the most of dungeons that offer a high amount of XP and other rewards, it is recommended to reset them and complete the challenges multiple times.

On that note, here’s how to reset Dungeons in Diablo 4.

How to reset Dungeons in Diablo 4

To reset a Dungeon in Diablo 4, you’ll need to make sure to have defeated the final boss and completed all the dungeon’s objectives at least once. Then, complete the following steps:

1. Leave the dungeon.
2. Wait for 60 seconds outside the area.
3. Leave the game and return to the character select menu.
4. When you return to your saved game, the dungeon and all the enemies in it should be ready to farm once again.

You’ll be able to reset all Dungeons and Nightmare Dungeons this way in solo as well as online play.

During the Diablo 4 beta, Blizzard had a button that allowed players to reset Dungeons without exiting the game. Upon the official release, the feature was subsequently erased.
