Diablo 4 players want common enemy to replace missing Paladin class
Blizzard EntertainmentDiablo 4 has five playable classes already, from powerful Necromancers to beefy Druids, but players have picked out an enemy found in the game that they’d love to see become playable as a replacement for the missing Paladin.
Diablo 4 Season 2 has seen an influx of a boatload of new builds after utilizing the new uniques and Vampiric Powers, along with the five playable classes in the game. Even though there are five classes ready to be picked anytime, players want another addition to the roster.
As the current season is set to conclude on January 23, 2023, many players have been wondering what the devs have been cooking for Season 3. Although Blizzard have announced the arrival of a new class in the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion, fans have suggested their own pick.
Reddit user ‘2clr’ started this conversation as they said: “The Knights in D4 are so cool! I wish they would be a playable class,” while many others supported their claim. The Knights Penitent is an order under the Cathedral of Light, devoted to Inarius.
The OP clearly wanted them as a playable class, but other players reminded them that there used to be a class just like the Knights in previous Diablo titles, known as Paladin. Some players repeatedly asked “Where the actual f**k is Paladin?” as it has been one of the most requested classes for D4.
Other players added how they preferred “plate-wearing” classes and were “angry” that the closest thing to it was the Necromancer in Diablo 4. “We don’t allow cool things here, just play druid,” added another reply.
Some even found it “ridiculous” that the only class that could use shields in the game was the Necromancer.
Blizzard have not explicitly confirmed major details about the upcoming class, but they announced that it has never been seen before in any other Diablo title, and that removes the probability of getting the Paladin class in the upcoming expansion.
