Diablo 4 Season 3 has not been up to a great start as the players are furious with it and want to go back to the previous season.

Diablo 4 Season 3 is out as it brings forward a boatload of new content such as The Gauntlet, Vaults, and Seneschal Companions. However, it seems like the players are not fans of these additions as players are finding ways to bring back acclaimed Season 2 mechanics.

Players are furious with almost every new addition in Season 3, from the Seneschal Constructs to the new trap rooms. The outrage has spread as most of the community wants Season 2 content back in the game.

Reddit user ‘ddddddddddgggg’ asked if they could “go back to Season 2” after being heavily disappointed with the activities in Season 3. The OP further mentioned that they wanted to be a “vampire” again, just like in Season 2.

Almost every other player under the post agreed with the OP as they suggested that the devs should find a way “to integrate previous season content in some form” into the present season to make it more enjoyable in Diablo 4.

With more and more players being unhappy with Season 3, many have suggested that the devs should draw inspiration from their previous season’s success. Some players even claimed that it was “one of the core pillars” of ARPGs.

For context, Season 2 received some positive feedback even though the devs had to push out some emergency patches. The Uber bosses and loot tables, along with Blood Harvest received some high remarks from the community as well.

Many even wanted Season 2 mechanics to be “integrated in the eternal realm,” and not just be confined to seasonal boundaries. “Make the game bigger and better with each season. And maybe use the seasons for a coherent, bigger overall storyline which then leads to an expansion,” suggested a player.

“Season 2 was [so] much better. Season 3 is just sad,” claimed one of the players as well. The previous season was still receiving love instead of S3 as some said: “If we had a button to replace this dog**it with Season 2 I’d smash it without thinking.”

As the season has just begun, it will probably take some time for Blizzard to sort out a solution for the issues players have. However, sooner or later the devs will probably release an emergency patch to address some problems in Diablo 4 Season 3.
