Diablo 4 player reveals how Seneschal pets can “one-shot” Uber Lilith with every class

Of all the bosses in Diablo 4, defeating Uber Lilith can be a challenge. However, following the updates in Diablo 4 Season 3, the Seneschal Companion is capable of taking down the boss in one hit.

The Diablo 4 Seneschal Companion was under a lot of fire from the players when Season of the Construct went live. However, after two new patches, this companion is probably one of the strongest companions in the game so far.

The only other companions that players can have are in the form of Minions for the Necromancer and the Animals that the Druids can summon. While the companion builds in Diablo 4 were nerfed with the Season 3 update, Blizzard seems to have redeemed themselves with the Seneschal Companion.

As posted on Reddit by ‘Kingleil’, with the right build, the Seneschal Companion can deal more than one billion damage and is capable of one-shotting Uber Lilith, Uber Duriel, and some of the other endgame bosses.

As one player noted, the Seneschal Companion hits harder and is more effective than the Necromancer or the Druid pets in Diablo 4. They said, “As a Necro player, I can’t express how much it irks me that every class now has this pet, yet Necro minion / Druid companion are sat in C/D tier. Absolute joke.”

While there was much discussion amongst the players about the efficiency of pets and streamers who theorycraft all day, one Redditor pointed out that Blizzard was testing pet scaling during this season.

They said, “Everyone in this season is currently testing pet scaling, at all levels and situations, (namely) Hardcore/Softcore. I’m praying Blizzard is smart and is testing almost ready, but not quite there, features that didn’t make it into launch or just never got proper QC, like pets. Just like last season was testing the hourly rotations for Helltide and testing glyphs less dependent on ‘if x stat in radius’ or legendary gems.”

To conclude, it’s rather interesting that the Diablo 4 Seneschal Companion can one-shot one of the most difficult bosses in the game. To make matters more interesting, the upcoming Diablo 4 patch will probably buff the pet even further.

While you wait for the patch to drop, do check out how to participate in the Lunar Awakening event and the Diablo 4 Season 3 class tier list.
