Diablo 4 Uber Uniques have really low drop rates when you’re farming the Uber Duriel dungeon and even lower drop rates in the open world. However, data mines revealed that the drop rates outside Duriel have been increased by 1350%.

In Diablo 4, Uber Uniques are some of the most powerful items in the game. Given that they’re so strong, their drop rates are also comparatively lower than normal.

While you can come across Uber Uniques in the open world in the game, you can target farm them by running the Uber Duriel encounter.

As shared by ‘Deidarac5’ on Reddit, a recent datamine suggested that the Uber Unique drop rates outside Duriel were buffed in the Diablo 4 1.3.2 patch. This datamine was further analyzed by popular Diablo 4 content creator ‘Rob2628’.

Rob took the Harlequin Crest (Shako) as an example to explain this new drop rate in Diablo 4. Prior to the patch, you could get 1 Shako for every 10 Million random Uber Uniques in case of Barbarians. With the new patch, that’s been reduced to 1 in every 7450 drops.

Many players weren’t happy about this change because they believe that they’ll still have to farm the Duriel dungeon in Diablo 4.

In this regard, ‘No_Schedule6308’ said, “I mean, the change does almost nothing. It went from “winning the lottery” odds to you need to get 7500 helmets to drop for there to be a 50% chance one is a Shako (this is as a barb). Which means you’re still just farming Duriel.”

Others responded to OP by saying that this wasn’t a big buff at all. One player said, ” This is NOT a big buff when you actually look at the stats. For every 250 normal uniques you get, doing non boss content, you will now get an uber. No one I know has gotten more then a handful of uniques from normal content, let alone 250.”

Considering that Blizzard has buffed the Uber Unique drop rates in Diablo 4 outside of the Duriel encounter, more people might be able to get their hands on some of the higher tier content in the game. It will be interesting to see what changes they bring in the forthcoming updates.
