Warzone’s meta is another broken pistol despite Renetti nerf

Warzone’s Handguns should not be overlooked, especially when combined with a strong Conversion Kit. Another pistol is proving to be dominant in close-range Season 3 battles, replacing the Renetti.

Warzone’s Aftermarket Part Conversion Kits have been taking over the battle royale in Season 3. Not only did the Renetti JAK Ferocity Carbine have the run of its life before being nerfed, but players have also been loving the MCW‘s JAK Raven attachment.

Now, the COR-45 has entered the spotlight, taking the Renetti’s place as the powerful close-range Handgun that can shred enemies thanks to its XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit. Similarly to the Renetti, The COR-45’s Conversion Kit essentially turns the pistol into a close-range SMG, but it isn’t fully automatic.

The XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit for the COR-45 makes it so a bullet is fired upon pulling and also releasing the trigger. It’s all about repeating this process as fast as you can while staying on target to produce the best results.

If you can get your trigger finger down while also being accurate, the COR-45 becomes an absolute TTK beast for close-range gunfights. Even popular CoD content creator Metaphor compared it to the Renetti and called it “insane” so long as you can tap the trigger fast.

The only downside that Metaphor mentions is that the pull and release firing behavior is a little “awkward” for mouse and keyboard, claiming it to be much easier to spam the trigger on controller.

If you can master the unique firing behavior, the COR-45 with the Conversion Kit is a meta pick for close-range battles, especially on Rebirth Island. When using our best COR-45 loadout with the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit, its mobility and speed were a major advantage. Give it a go if you’re looking for a replacement after the Renetti nerf.
