Smart Displays are one of the many new features in Warzone Season 3 and they can be used to gather valuable intel in a match. So, here’s everything you need to know about how Smart Displays work in Warzone.

Warzone Season 3 brings plenty of content, from new weapons like the MORS Sniper Rifle to the Climb and Punishment event. Among these fresh arrivals is Smart Displays, an interesting new feature that could help squads plan their next move in a match and decide if and when they should fight.

Here’s everything you need to know about Smart Displays and how they are useful.

Warzone Smart Displays explained

Smart Displays are electronic boards scattered around Rebirth Island that display key intel in Warzone. As confirmed in the Season 3 blog, there are around a dozen of these panels to be found around the returning Resurgence map, both on exterior walls and inside buildings.

On top of generic Konni messages, Smart Displays show “heat zones” across the map, meaning the POIs that have the largest number of players fighting around them. This lets aggressive squads know where the action is, while telling more conservative players which areas to avoid.

They also highlight the first Warzone Operators in a match to hit 10, 15, or 20 kills, dubbing them “demons,” as well as anybody who has created a Biometric Scanner during the game.

By revealing these high-value targets, anybody who keeps an eye on the Smart Displays will be able to decide whether it’s worth pushing a rival team. If you know they have a Biometric Scanner then it could be worth the risk, whereas if you spot the kill leader you might decide to steer clear.

The blog also revealed that an “unknown entity” has been hacking into the devices and playing their own messages, which could directly tie into some kind of event planned for later in the season.

It’s worth noting that Smart Displays are exclusive to Rebirth Island for the time being. Only time will tell if the devs decide to add them to Urzikstan or the other Resurgence maps at a later date.
