Warzone pro unveils “nasty” buffed Shotgun loadout to dominate close-range

Season 5 Reloaded brought several weapon changes, considerably shifting the short-range meta. Luckily, pro player JoeWo unveiled his “nasty” buffed Shotgun loadout, perfect to dominate the close-range meta in Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 has an immense variety of weapons to use at different ranges. While Submachine Guns are the dominant category at short distances due to their mobility, cadence, and comfort when using them, Shotguns can be lethal if used correctly.

Fortunately, Warzone pro JoeWo shared his best Bryson 800 Shotgun class, which he believes “packs a punch” after being buffed with the Season 5 Reloaded weapon changes. Given its improved limb damage multipliers, JoeWo believes this Shotgun has returned to the short-range meta conversation.

JoeWo’s best Bryson 800 loadout for Warzone 2

• Barrel: 29.5″ Rifled Barrel
• Laser: Hipshot L20
• Muzzle: Bryson Choke
• Stock: Sawed Off Mod
• Guard: Demo X50 Tactical Pump

To start off JoeWo’s best Warzone 2 Bryson 800 loadout, he opted for the 29.5″ Rifled Barrel to improve the gun’s damage range and bullet velocity and tighten the pellet spread, which, combined with the Bryson Choke Muzzle, further shrinks the pellet spread in order to hit targets easily at short-ranges.

Then, he opted for the Hipshot L20 Laser to enhance his hip fire accuracy and control, pairing it with the Sawed Off Mod Stock for increased mobility, benefiting aiming down sights, movement, and sprint-to-fire speeds.

Finally, he picked the Demo X50 Tactical Pump Guard, which not only accelerates crouched movement and ADS speed but also speeds up rechambering, significantly improving his ability to rush for kills and engage enemies more effectively in the match.

In his video, JoeWo points out that using this loadout can be challenging. Consequently, it requires you to “play fights a little differently than you usually would if you had an SMG.” However, he sustains the gun remains highly effective in close-quarters combat, even when compared to the popular SMG choices in the current meta.
