On October 23, both Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 received an update, featuring a range of nerfs to dominant weapons, bug fixes, and more. Here’s all you need to know about the October 23 update of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, including the full patch notes.

Following the launch of The Haunting event in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, the devs rolled out an update on October 23 including multiple bug fixes and weapon balance changes, all designed to impact the game’s meta.

One of the biggest changes that the October 23 update brought was another nerf to the Lockwood 300. This Shotgun has dominated Warzone matches with its overpowered Maelstrom Dual Trigger attachment, which despite being nerfed in a previous update, still dominated lobbies within the game.

Here are the full Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 October 23 patch notes.
