Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 underwent an update on October 11 which brought significant buffs and nerfs to meta weapons like the Lockwood 300, several bug fixes, and more. Here are the complete Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 October 11 update patch notes.

Season 6 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is well underway, granting players a lot of new content like new weaponry and several fresh Operators collaborations, such as Spawn, Skeletor, and DOOM, and are set to receive even more content with the upcoming Season 6 Reloaded update.

Additionally, CoD developers released a new update on October 11 that brings various bug fixes including the Gaia skin appearance, some gameplay changes, and weapon balancing with the aim of shifting the game’s meta.

The popular Season 6 Lockwood 300 Shotgun has finally been nerfed.

OPERATORS

  • Gaia (Operator Nova Skin)
    • Added VFX to base skin that reflects the same level of visibility as BlackCell skin
    • Improved visibility compensation 

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue that could kick Players back to the main menu when viewing some Finishing Moves selections 
  • Fixed an issue that could display incorrect unlock criteria for some Finishing Moves
  • Fixed an issue where a random Spawn skin could be equipped in the Operators tab after the Player selects one of the Spawn skins in the Showcase tab
  • Fixed an issue where selected Operator Finishing Moves could become reset

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent Players from changing/customizing Operators in DMZ when using a controller
  • Fixed an issue where equipping a new Finishing Move does not replace a previously equipped Finishing Move in DMZ
