Warzone received a major movement overhaul when it integrated with Modern Warfare 3, and CoD expert Metaphor has revealed a “max speed” SMG loadout to make full use of the changes.

The Warzone Season 1 update brought plenty of major changes and new content to the game. It marked the debut of the new Urzisktan map, as well as the arrival of every Modern Warfare 3 weapon to give players more choice than ever before.

However, that’s not all, as the patch also came with the major movement overhaul that fans had been asking for since Al Mazrah. The return of slide canceling and more fluid ways to get around the map opens up new ways to outplay an opponent.

Warzone expert Metaphor has shown off a “max speed” SMG build to make the most of the new movement and dominate enemy squads.

In his December 18 video, the YouTuber explained that the Striker can built into the “most overpowered movement loadout in the game,” making it easy to terrorize rival players and outmaneuver them, especially if you’re someone who uses a controller.

“This is complete honesty and I’m not trying to trigger anybody when I say this, you can actually break aim assist with this movement,” said Metaphor. “It’s so insane, if you were to do it against a mouse and keyboard player, you’re probably going to win every time.”

Metaphor’s “max speed” Striker loadout in Warzone Season 1

  • Muzzle: XRL Knockout Breach
  • Barrel: Striker Stubby Barrel
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip

As you’d expect, most of Metaphor’s attachments for his best Striker loadout in Warzone focused on making the SMG feel as mobile and snappy as possible. The aim was to improve the ADS, sprint-to-fire, and general movement speed so you can run rings around enemies in a fight.

The XRL Knockout Breach, Striker Stubby Barrel, XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop, and No Stock options all contribute to this goal, while the Sakin ZX Grip adds some extra recoil control to ensure you can still land your shots with ease.

Metaphor ended by calling this build a “masterpiece,” and saying that he hopes he never runs into another player running this Striker setup.
