Warzone expert JGOD has revealed a forgotten trick that makes Shotguns even more effective than they already are.

In Warzone, players will try their best to cover all bases with their loadout, picking Snipers for long-range, Assault Rifles for medium, and SMGs for close-range.

That said, Shotguns are also extremely powerful for close-quarters combat, despite most opting for an SMG.

While revealing some of the best Shotgun loadouts to use in Warzone Season 1 Reloaded, Call of Duty expert and content creator JGOD shared a top tip that makes Shotguns even more powerful as a close-range option.

While showing off Warzone loadouts for the Haymaker and Lockwood 680, JGOD suggested that players should use the Tac-Stance mechanic with Shotguns for “cleaner ironsights,” and, more importantly, the ability to be more mobile, as the stance allows you to slide and shoot with ease.

JGOD described it as “one of the biggest things” to know when using Shotguns in Warzone, as you’ll often find that you need to close the distance between you and your enemy to make them more effective, which the Tac-Stance helps a lot with.

Sliding, strafing, and also dipping in and out of cover is essential when trying to close the gap and approach enemies with a Shotgun in Warzone.

Tac-Stance makes this much easier to do, as it allows you to always be ready to get your shots off nice and quickly, removing the sprint-to-fire delay that could result in you being taken out.

If you are looking to use a Shotgun in Warzone, definitely make use of Tac-Stance, as it’s certainly a new mechanic that is being slept on by players.
