Warzone 2 guru claims fan-favorite Assault Rifle “fries” after buff in Season 5 Reloaded

After the Season 5 Reloaded update, several weapon buffs and nerfs shifted the meta, and Warzone 2 guru JoeWo claimed to find the best loadout for a fan-favorite Assualt Rifle that “fries” enemies in the game.

With the arrival of Warzone 2’s Season 5 Reloaded, a plethora of fresh content has been ushered in for players to dive into. This encompasses the introduction of new weaponry such as the Lachmann Shroud, 9mm Daemon, and Pickaxe, the incorporation of popular characters as Operators, new game modes, and more.

The most recent update ushered in some substantial weapon adjustments, causing a shift in the game’s meta. One of the standout improvements was applied to the legendary M4. In light of this, Warzone 2 guru JoeWo has unveiled his best loadout for this fan-favorite Assault Rifle, claiming it “fries” enemies.

• Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
• Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
• Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
• Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
• Magazine: 60 Round Mag

To kick off JoeWo’s best M4 loadout for Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, he opted for the Hightower 20″ Barrel, which vastly improves the gun’s damage range and bullet velocity and also helps improve the recoil control.

Then, he chose the Komodo Heavy Muzzle that enhances the horizontal recoil control, which, combined with the 5.56 High Velocity Ammunition and the FTAC Ripper 56 Underbarrel, further boosts both recoil stabilization and bullet velocity.

Finally, he picked the 60 Round Magazine, allowing players to avoid constantly recharging the gun mid-fight and be more forgiving at long distances if missing bullets.

Despite the recent buff allowing the weapon to stand out considerably in all maps and modes, JoeWo believes that it “fries” in the Vondel Resurgence map, where the various heights and lot of engagements at long distances let its close and close-mid range improvements to stand out.
