Holger 26 MW3

Modern Warfare 3 is finally out for everyone to jump into and the best Holger 26 loadout will have you beaming enemies from power positions. Here’s how to wield the powerful Holger 26 LMG in MW3 with the most suitable attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Modern Warfare 3, along with new features such as the Tac-Stance movement, also brings a portion of the remastered maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) for players to jump into. But many of them are still figuring out the best guns before going into Season 1.

From the huge roster of weapons that comprises guns carried over from Modern Warfare 2 and the likes of MCW, certain players prefer to gravitate to hard-hitting LMGs like the Holger 26.

On that note, here is the best Holger 26 loadout for Modern Warfare 3

The Holger 26 is a great LMG in Modern Warfare 3.

Best Modern Warfare 3 Holger 26 loadout attachments

  • Barrel: Ascent Lord Heavy Barrel
  • Muzzle: HMRES Mod Suppressor
  • Rear Grip: LM Intruder Grip
  • Stock: RB Crotalus Assault Stock
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

The best Holger 26 LMG loadout in MW3 is all about holding down powerful lines of sight, so sacrificing some mobility for damage range and stability is the goal. For starters, the Ascent Loard Heavy Barrel will improve the weapon’s recoil control, all while increasing its damage range.

Then, the HMRES Mod Suppressor will keep your shots off the minimap and increase bullet velocity at the same time. The RB Crotalus Assault Stock will further improve firing stability for the Holger, allowing you to hit your shots with ease.

We don’t want the weapon to feel too slow, so the LM Intruder Grip will provide a much-needed boost to ADS speed. As for the Optic, the Slate Reflector is an early standout amongst MW3 players.

Best Modern Warfare 3 Holger 26 loadout Perks & equipment

  • Vest: Infantry
  • Gloves: Commando
  • Gear: EOD Padding
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Scatter Drone
  • Field Equipment: Trophy System

When using a Holger 26 loadout in Modern Warfare 3, you’ll want to equip the Gunner Vest in order to reload the heavy weapon faster. The Gunner Vest means that you won’t be able to equip Boots, but that’s an acceptable tradeoff for increased reload speed.

Then, the Commando Gloves will allow you to reload the Holger 26 while sprinting, which will be useful for repositioning with the unique LMG. The EOD Padding is a great option to tank as many explosive hits as possible. However, the Conduction Headset or Control Comlink are two great alternatives depending on your playstyle.

The Scatter Drone can be placed to guard your power position with the hard-hitting Holger, and the Semtex can clean up kills that push you from the front. Placing the mines to cover your back is a great idea. Meanwhile, the Trophy System will ensure that enemy Lethals and Tacticals won’t force you to flee from your spot.

Best Holger 26 alternatives in Modern Warfare 3

As a standard LMG in Modern Warfare 3, the Holger 26 may not suit your playstyle, so the MTZ-556 is a reliable alternative that offers a little more mobility while maintaining low recoil. Otherwise, the Rival-9 offers a greater departure from the LMG category by delivering a weapon that excels in close quarters.
