Warzone Season 3 has reintroduced Rebirth Island, letting players relive the glory days by dropping into the Alcatraz-inspired Resurgence map. That’s not all though, as the devs are also bringing back the Specialist Perk which was an incredibly valuable item in the original game.

When is Specialist Perk coming to Warzone?

The Specialist Perk Package returns to Warzone on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the Season 3 Reloaded update. This was confirmed by the devs in the Reloaded blog, where they revealed it would arrive alongside the update.

It was originally revealed that the Specialist Perk Package was coming back at the start of Season 3, but fans will have to wait until the mid-season patch to finally get their hands on it again.

How to get Specialist Perk in Warzone

Warzone’s Specialist Perk will be available as ground loot, so you’ll be able to find it from rare loot at hot POIs on Rebirth Island and in special Supply Boxes.

They won’t be easy to find, but you can spot the Specialist as a Perk Package with red and yellow coloring and a graphic of a fist and stars on it. If you do get lucky enough to pick one up in a game of Warzone Resurgence on Rebirth Island, you’ll want to hang onto it, as it can give you a major advantage over the rest of the lobby.

What does Warzone’s Specialist Perk do?

Warzone’s Specialist Bonus gives players every Perk in the game. This turns you into a super-soldier, with Sleight of Hand, Tracker, Resolute, Shrouded, Cold-Blooded, Mountaineer, and every other Including the default ones that every player is given in Warzone.

You’ll gain all of these Perks on top of the default Tac Pads, Commando Gloves, Quick-Grip Gloves, Climbing Boots, and Overkill when you pick up the Specialist Bonus in Warzone.

Can you get Specialist Perk in Warzone Battle Royale?

No, you can’t get the Warzone Specialist Perk in regular matches. It’s only available in Resurgence matches on Rebirth Island in Season 3 Reloaded.

Only time will tell if the devs bring it to Urzikstan later down the line, but as of the mid-season update, it’s exclusive to the iconic map.
