Plenty of changes arrived in Warzone Pacific Season 5, and players are furious after discovering that the new seasonal update has removed the fan-favorite Rebirth Island map.

Warzone Pacific received a plethora of new content when the Season 5 update went live, including various weapon balancing changes and brand-new Umbrella Academy Operator skins.

However, players logging into the game to check out all the brand-new content were surprised to learn that the popular Rebirth Island map is missing from the game’s playlists following the Season 5 launch.

There has been a lot of outcry about this change from the community, as Reddit user ‘George_Marsh’ went on the Warzone Pacific subreddit and expressed their frustration with Rebirth’s removal.

The Redditor stated: “If any dev from Raven or whoever is looking after this game right now is reading, I beg you to stop taking Rebirth out of the playlist.” Many of the commenters agreed that Rebirth should remain in the game.

While Warzone Pacific also features Fortune’s Keep and Caldera as alternative maps to battle on, many in the community still prefer the close-quarters layout of Rebirth Island for its fast-paced action.

One user commented in the thread: “I liked Fortune’s Keep and considered it a good map, but Rebirth was still my favorite. Now that Fortune’s Keep is the only option, I hate it out of anger for no Rebirth”.

In another thread about this change, more Warzone Pacific players called for the developers to bring Rebirth Island back, with a few of them calling it more fun than Verdansk or Fortune’s Keep.

One commenter explained that Rebirth is the only map they enjoy since Verdansk’s removal, saying they have “no reason to play this game anymore” until Rebirth Island returns.

However, this doesn’t mean that the map has been permanently removed from the game altogether, as the developers confirmed that Resurgence Supreme is coming to Rebirth Island during Season 5 Reloaded.

While Rebirth Island may not be available for players to jump into at the time of writing, it will return during Season 5. It remains to be seen if the developers are planning to respond to these complaints.
