Warzone 2’s Ashika Island will deliver the new Restore Honor feature. Here’s everything you need to know about the Season 2 addition.

Warzone 2 Season 2 is right around the corner and players will have a chance to discover Ashika Island in all of its glory. While players will take to the new POIs including the familiar Tsuki Castle, the new map will also introduce some new mechanics in Season 2.

One of these new additions is the Restore Honor feature which will feature exclusively on Ashika Island. Let’s go over what the Restore Honor feature entails and how to best use it to your advantage.

What is Restore Honor in Warzone 2?

For starters, the Restore Honor feature makes it so every player on Ashika Island will drop a dog tag at the location of their death once per match.

After you redeploy, you’ll have the opportunity to return to the location of your death and pick up that dog tag. Either you or your teammates can successfully recuperate the dog tag.

Those with the courage to return to the location of their death and scoop up the dog tag will earn a small Cash reward and a “single UAV ping marking both enemy threats and nearby Supply Boxes.”

While returning for a dog tag presents a considerable risk, your squad will come away with valuable information. The UAV ping will not only allow you to protect the area from inbound enemies, but the reveal of nearby Supply Boxes can prove vital to your squad’s ability to bounce back from a recent death.

Utilizing the Restore Honor feature can improve your survivability and allow you to turn the tides of battle on Ashika Island. Just make sure to watch out for enemy players using the dog tags as bait.
