Warzone 2 will receive the brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map in Season 2 and players can get their first look at the official tac map.

The Warzone 2 Season 2 update is set to shake up the battle royale with several quality-of-life changes and a ton of new content. The devs even delayed the start of Season 2, in order to work on providing community-driven changes to the battle royale.

There’s plenty of reason to be excited for Warzone 2 Season 2, and the new Ashika Island Resurgence map is at the very top of the list. Since Warzone 2 launched, players have been crying out for a small Resurgence map.

Rebirth Island was a fan-favorite Warzone map and Ashika Island has the potential to bring the same fast pace chaos to Warzone 2.

On January 31, the devs revealed the official POIs for the Ashika Island map, giving players their first look at what’s to come in Warzone 2 Season 2.

Every Warzone 2 Ashika Island map POI

  • Tsuki Castle
  • Town Center
  • Beach Club
  • Shipwreck
  • Port Ashika
  • Oganikku Farms
  • Residential

Slowly but surely, the Call of Duty team revealed Ashika Island POIs on their Twitter account. As the pieces came together, players got their first look at the tac map and new POIs for Ashika Island.

Players will notice the Ashika Castle POI which resembles the classic Castle map. We’ll have to wait and see how similar the two are when Ashika Island arrives in Season 2.

Modern Warfare 2 players were duped into thinking that the classic Castle map would arrive as a multiplayer map in Season 2. However, this is not the case as Castle will only feature as a POI in Warzone 2’s Ashika Island.

Ashika Island was developed by High Moon Studios, which is the same team behind Fortune’s Keep. Now’s your chance to study the Ashika Island tac map and plan out your first drop on February 15.
