Getting a nuke in Warzone 2 is perhaps the most difficult challenge the battle royale offers but with Season 3 wrapping up, the devs have made it much easier to get, and players are unimpressed.

Wearing the nuke skin in Warzone 2 is a sign that you’re a cut above the rest, capable of not only getting five wins in a row but you can also complete the Champions Quest, completing objectives with negative side effects while marked for the whole lobby.

With Warzone 2 Season 4 arriving on June 14 and bringing new nuke rewards, Raven Software announced that “Champion’s Quest is enabled for all Players in all core BR modes!”

This means any player can drop right in and try the Champions Quest as many times as they like, without having to get the five wins in a row. While some players are delighted at the chance to try and get a nuke, more dedicated players feel like it’s a “slap in the face.”

FaZe Swagg simply replied to the tweet with “LLLLLLLL,” and fellow Nuke Squad member Booya said replied with two crying laughing emojis.

Content creator B1inkinTV called it “such a slap in the face to the people who grinded nuke contracts for the first 3 seasons.”

Some regular players took to Reddit to complain, with ‘tallstan12‘ explaining that while the Champions Quest itself is difficult, “now everyone basically gets an unlimited amount of attempts and they don’t have to waste their time getting the 5 wins again.”

“Everyone gets a participation trophy,” said zbreidt. “It’s not about winning and losing anymore lmao joke company.”

While the more dedicated players are upset to see everyone gets as many chances as they like to complete the Champions Quest, bear in mind that it’s not going to be a walk in the park, and you’re far from guaranteed to launch the nuke and claim the rewards.

However, now might be your best chance to unlock the rewards ahead of the Season 4 update on June 14 which brings the new Vondel map and four new weapons including the ISO 45 and Tempus Razorback Assault Rifle.
