What is Occupation Scan event in Warzone 2?

Similar to the original Warzone, Occupation Scan is an in-game event that will appear randomly during the match giving players a little challenge and twist to deal with.

At some point during a Warzone 2 match on Vondel, Season 4 Reloaded players will receive an in-game notification alerting them about the event. This alert will include a countdown and will give players enough time to complete the task and avoid consequences.

Once the countdown ends, players who aren’t prone will be marked on the map, making them visible to all players in the match.

According to the blog, the only way to go unnoticed on the enemy’s minimap will be to “go prone or dive underwater when an Occupation Scan begins.”

The event will end once the announcer calls it out and when it’s over, the match will continue as usual.

All in all, the Warzone 2 Occupation Scan event is a fun new addition to the Vondel formula, allowing agile players to engage in fights quickly by knowing the exact position of enemies on the map.
