Underrated Warzone rifle with “nasty” TTK is game’s “best DMR”
ActivisionWarzone 2 content creator Metaphor believes he has found the “best DMR” loadout in the game, as he claims the weapon can put enemies down in three shots.
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded is just around the corner, and the update will no doubt bring some balance changes that could throw some new weapons into the meta.
Most players enjoy fully automatic weapons such as Assault Rifles, SMGs, and LMGs in Warzone 2, as these are reliable weapon categories when it comes to sheer output and consistency.
However, the semi-automatic Marksman Rifles in the game can often impress, and Warzone content creator Metaphor believes he may have found the “best DMR” loadout in the battle royale.
The DMR in question is the TAQ-M Marksman Rifle, which Metaphor claims has a “nasty” TTK, with the potential to drop enemies in just three shots. This is fairly surprising considering the weapon only has a 0.1% pick rate according to WZRanked, making it extremely underrated.

Metaphor’s best Warzone 2 TAQ-M loadout
- Barrel: LR1:7 20.5″ Barrel
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Rear Grip: FSS Combat Grip
- Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic
Kicking off Metaphor‘s Warzone 2 TAQ-M loadout is the LR1:7 20.5″ Barrel, which improves the DMR’s damage range, hip fire accuracy, and bullet velocity, allowing you to down enemies more efficiently from range.
As for the muzzle attachment, Metaphor opts for the Sakin Tread-40, which provides some great vertical and horizontal recoil control, making it easier to hit more shots and stay on target.
Next up, the FTAC Ripper 56 and FSS Combat Grip further aid recoil and stability, providing an improvement to aiming idle stability, hip fire accuracy, recoil stabilization, and recoil control.
Lastly, Metaphor chooses the VLK 4.0 Optic as opposed to iron sights as it provides a decent amount of zoom that allows you to engage in long-range combat.
