Content creator Metaphor shared his best loadout for an underrated Warzone AR that “absolutely rocks” after Season 5’s August 16 update buff.

Season 5 of Warzone 2 has introduced a ton of new content for players to enjoy, including an updated weapon arsenal featuring newcomers like the FR Avancer, M13C, and Carrack .300, the integration of well-known rappers as Operators, changes to movement mechanics, and many more.

Following previous seasons, this new update also brought new buffs and nerfs that have substantially reshaped the game’s meta, with further modifications introduced through the August 16 update.

Luckily, Warzone content creator Metaphor shared the best loadout for the underrated AR Chimera, which received a prominent buff with the latest update and will allow players to navigate the mid-long range encounters.

Metaphor’s best Chimera loadout for Warzone 2 Season 5

Barrel: 10″ SA Phoenix
Laser: VLK LZR 7mw
Ammunition: .300 BLK Hollowpoint
Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
Magazine: 45 Round Mag

To kick off Metaphor’s best Chimera loadout in Warzone 2, he opted for the 10″ SA Phoenix barrel to enhance damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control, assuring it can easily hit distant targets.

Then, he decided to equip the VLK LZR 7mw laser to improve sprint-to-fire and ADS speeds, which, in combination with the Bruen Flash rear grip, further boosts both, ensuring that the weapon is easy to use and is an excellent ally at long distances.

Finally, he chose the 45 Round magazine to avoid running out of bullets easily and the .300 BLK Hollowpoint ammunition to add crippling effect, making the enemy walk and run slower if shot.

According to the content creator, the Chimera is a “hidden gem,” becoming a very viable AR option following the game’s last weapon balancing. After the latest update, it wouldn’t be strange to start seeing the gun more often in matches, beginning to carve out a place in the game’s most popular picks.
