Warzone 2’s new Ashika Island map features a quirky Easter egg that lets players feed a sea lion statue. Here’s how to feed the sea lion on Warzone 2 Ashika Island and the reward on offer.

Warzone’s maps have always been jam-packed with interesting locations to explore, and Warzone 2 is no exception. Al Mazrah is full of classic CoD maps as POIs, while the new Ashika Island added in Season 2 features a hidden bunker full of loot.

Each map also comes with plenty of amusing Easter eggs for players to hunt down, and a new one discovered on the new Resurgence map lets them feed a statue of a sea lion in exchange for a reward.

Here’s how to feed the sea lion on Warzone 2′ Ashika’s Ashika Island.

The statue in question can be found outside the aquarium at the Beach Club POI. It can be found as you approach the main entrance to the aquarium along the blue street.

This is likely a nod to the name ‘Ashika,’ which roughly translates to ‘sea lion’ from Japanese to English.

As far as we’re aware, this is the only statue that the Easter egg can be performed on and there aren’t any real sea lions roaming the map that can be fed.

How to feed the sea lion on Ashika Island in Warzone 2

Players can feed the sea lion in Warzone 2 by approaching the statue and hitting the interact button, the catch is that you’ll need to offer it three fish to successfully pull off the Easter egg.

To catch some food for the sea lion you’ll need to head to the ocean or canals and find a fishing spot, which are marked by ripples in the water and fish jumping out. Throw an explosive into the water, wait for them to float to the top, and you can loot them up.

Then, simply head back to the sea lion statue, where you’ll be able to make a new friend by interacting and feeding it three of the fish you’ve just caught.

We’ve provided a step-by-step guide below:

  1. Head to water and track a fishing spot.
  2. Throw an explosive into the water to kill the fish.
  3. Swim out to collect the fish and add them to your inventory.
  4. Go to the sea lion statue outside the Beach Club aquarium.
  5. Feed the sea lion three fish to complete the Easter egg.

Once you’ve successfully fed the sea lion three fish, you’ll hear it bark and there will be a reward for you to claim.

Warzone 2 Ashika Island sea lion Easter egg reward

Anyone who completes the sea lion Easter egg on Ashika Island will be awarded 50XP and a random piece of loot. This could range from lethal equipment like Semtex to a powerful Killstreak like a Precision Airstrike.

With this in mind, it’s unlikely that the sea lion Easter egg will become a vital part of every Resurgence match, but it’s still a fun secret to discover that could prove to be rewarding.
