How to enter secret Ashika Island bunker in Warzone 2
Warzone 2 players have finally begun exploring the new Ashika Island Resurgence map in Season 2, and they found a secret bunker not shown on the map. Here’s how to access the secret bunker on Ashika Island in Warzone 2.
After being notably missing at launch, the fan-favorite Resurgence mode has returned in Warzone 2 Season 2, complete with the new Ashika Island map. This Japanese-themed map is geared toward fast-paced gameplay and has a number of interesting POIs, including the Castle map right in the middle.
But as is the case with each new Warzone map, Ashika Island is also packed with secret areas and Easter eggs to find. Shortly after Season 2 went live, players quickly discovered a hidden bunker underneath the island that isn’t marked on the map.
Here’s how to enter the secret Ashika Island bunker in Warzone 2, as well as what awaits you inside.
How to get inside secret Ashika Island bunker in Warzone 2
The hidden bunker on Ashika Island can be found in the Waterways section of the map, a series of underground tunnels with rivers running through them. By going underwater near the submarine in this area, players will see two large pipes which can you swim through.
This leads to a cave area with another pool of water in the middle. Players must hop across three boxes to reach the other side, where they will see a hole in the wall that leads directly into the bunker.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to enter the secret Ashika Island bunker in Warzone 2:
- Head to the Waterways POI and find the submarine.
- Go underwater near the submarine.
- Swim through one of the two pipes that lead into a cave.
- Hop across three boxes to reach the other side of the water.
- Climb through the hole in the wall and into the hidden bunker.
Once you’re done inside, simply follow the corridor up to the door, which can only be opened from one side. This will bring you back out into the Waterways POI, not too far away from where you started.
What’s inside the secret Ashika Island bunker in Warzone 2?
If you manage to get inside the hidden vault, you’ll be met by Weapon Lockers, Rare Weapon Crates, and other supplies to help you secure the win, like Gas Masks and Killstreaks. This makes it an ideal area to access at the beginning of each match.
However, as word of this secret bunker spreads, don’t be surprised to see plenty of other teams fighting to get inside first.
The loot inside varies from game to game, but you can guarantee rarer weapons and Killstreaks than in regular spots above ground.
