Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 night vision map

Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 will deliver plenty of new content for players to enjoy, with multiplayer fans set to receive at least two new maps. One of the battlegrounds coming to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 3 will be a highly requested night vision map.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 will arrive on April 12, and it has some major shoes to fill following the success of Modern Warfare 2 Season 2, which saw the popular Ranked Play mode arrive.

Luckily for fans of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, it seems Season 3 will be full of new content, including the return of the Intervention, two new Operators, and the long-awaited arrival of Gunfight.

While Gunfight is expected to bring its own set of maps to Modern Warfare 2, players are wondering what’s in store for 6v6 multiplayer maps in Season 3.

The devs already revealed an early look at the upcoming Pelayo’s Lighthouse map, and they’ve followed that up with confirmation that a night vision map is also on the way in Season 3.

There’s currently no name for the night vision map but the Call of Duty team confirmed that “more intel on an upcoming MP map set under the cover of night,” would be on the way soon.

Night vision functionality is something that Modern Warfare 2 players have been calling for since MW2’s launch. Players didn’t seem to mind whether it arrived as a separate mode or a new map, and it seems like they’ll be getting the latter.

In fact, some players also want to see the night vision feature hit Warzone 2. For now, players can expect the new night vision map to hit Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer in Season 3.

Night vision has frequently appeared throughout the Call of Duty franchise. In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, players had the option to permanently toggle night vision goggles on and off throughout multiplayer matches.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information concerning Season 3’s new maps.
