Is Gunfight coming to Modern Warfare 2?
Yes, the devs confirmed that Gunfight is coming to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 3.
The Season 3 update for Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive on April 12. However, there has been no indication of whether Gunfight will arrive with the Season 3 update on day one, or the mid-season update.

Is there a Gunfight release date for Modern Warfare 2?
Although there’s no official release date for Gunfight in Modern Warfare 2, we do know that it is officially coming in Season 3.
As previously mentioned, if Gunfight arrives with the Season 3 update, then April 12 is the date to look out for. If the devs plan to deliver gunfight with Season 3 Reloaded, then a May release date is to be expected.
What is Gunfight in Call of Duty?
Call of Duty’s Gunfight is a round-based single-life mode where teams spawn into small, typically symmetrical, maps with the same weapons and equipment, and have to fight to be the last player standing. If a player from each team is still alive when the timer expires, then the first to capture the flag wins the round. The first team to win six rounds wins the whole game.
Gunfight featured in Modern Warfare 2019’s Alpha and evolved throughout the year, bringing Gunfight Tournaments with unique rewards. It was also included in Black Ops Cold War but was missing from Vanguard, so players are desperate to see it return in Modern Warfare 2.
