CoD Mobile Season 6 Templar’s Oath is yet another huge update for the popular mobile game, adding even more weapons and modes into the mix. Here are the CoD Mobile Season 6 patch notes, breaking down everything included in the update.

When Warzone Mobile was announced back in 2022, many players were concerned that CoD Mobile would be shut down to make way for the new game. However, Activision have confirmed their long-term commitment to CoD Mobile and have been releasing fresh content throughout 2023.

The Season 5 update dropped back in May, adding the new FFAR1 Assault Rifles along with Black Ops Cold War‘s Armada Strike map. Now, CoD Mobile Season 6 has arrived with even more for players to get stuck into.

Here are the full patch notes for the CoD Mobile Season 6 Templar’s Oath update, including its release date and all of the content set to be included.

The Grau 5.56 joins CoD Mobile in Season 6.

The CoD Mobile Season 6 is bringing back the iconic Grau 5.56, which was one of the most popular weapons in Modern Warfare (2019). Players can unlock the Assault Rifle for free in the Season 6 Battle Pass by reaching Tier 21.

In the blog announcing the update, the devs described the Grau 5.56 as “lightweight and maneuverable,” so don’t be surprised to see it dominating matches in the weeks to come.

CoD Mobile Season 6 Multiplayer Arena mode

A brand-new mode called Multiplayer Arena has also been added in CoD Mobile Season 6, pitting three teams of four against each other to battle it out for the win. Much like Search and Destroy, matches are broken up into rounds and respawns are disabled.

The objective is to eliminate all the other players in both enemy teams, while a circle similar to the battle royale mode shrinks to push squads together and force them into combat.

Multiplayer Arena takes place on either New Vision City or Ecology Lab, two new maps in CoD Mobile Season 6 that have been ripped straight from the Isolated battle royale map.

CoD Mobile Season 6 brings new Battle Royale class

Multiplayer isn’t the only area to receive new content in CoD Mobile Season 6, as the update brings the Kinetic Station Battle Royale class. This latest class can drop a “kinetic armor producing stand” that affects nearby teammates, protecting them from incoming fire.

“The armor deflects incoming bullets across the whole body until the skill timer runs out or enough damage has been inflicted,” explained the devs.

CoD Mobile Season 6 update patch notes

Here are the complete CoD Mobile Season 6 patch notes, as revealed on the Call of Duty blog:

After nearly dying at the hands of Ghost, Templar has returned and he’s stronger than ever. Reappearing as the Mythic Templar — Couteau’s Oath, there’s only one question that remains for those who stand in his way: Will you challenge him, or bow down before him?

Prepare for Call of Duty®: Mobile Season 6 — Templar’s Oath. As well as introducing the second Mythic Operator, the new season is also bringing the all-new 4v4v4 Arena mode, an expanded Armada map for Ground War, Goliath Clash 2.0, new weapons, a new Perk, a new Battle Royale class, and more.

Season 6 — Templar’s Oath launches on July 5th at 5 PM PT.

The Templar’s Oath Battle Pass features free and premium items including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional COD Points to spend on your next Premium Pass or Store purchase.

Battle Pass Free Tiers

Expand your arsenal with the lightweight and maneuverable Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle, unlocked at Tier 21 in the Battle Pass. Other free tier highlights include a variety of camos, Weapon Blueprints, and the MAC-10 – Mercy at Tier 50.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchase the Premium Pass for the chance to earn all of the content available in the Templar’s Oath stream, featuring Operator Skins like Bulldozer — Primal Threat, Samael — Mighty Cyclops, Wraith — Berserkr, and Alice — Enchanted Woods . Get new Epic armaments with Weapon Blueprints like the GKS — Metal Scales, Hades — Forest Rifle, L-CAR 9 — Flaming Sun, SP-R 208 — Celestial Nights, and the Grau 5.56 — Nordic Warrior.

Battle Pass Subscription: Enlist with the Ground Forces by purchasing a Battle Pass Subscription, granting extra rewards each season along with a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, plus limited discounts on 10x crate pulls.

Season 6’s Ground Forces rewards include the Adler — Gauntlet Operator Skin, the DL Q33 — Ebony Lion Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Ebony Lion.

Engage in an all-new competitive experience with the addition of the Multiplayer Arena mode. Three teams of four deploy to either New Vision City or Ecology Lab from Battle Royale to compete in round-based combat. Explore the map before the match begins to purchase items to take into the first round. Within the round, a circle collapse will push players closer and closer together. There are no respawns in this mode; get eliminated and you’re out until the next round.

By completing objectives like defeating enemies, players will earn tokens to buy weapons and equipment between rounds. Earn additional equipment and tokens by shooting down drones found throughout the map. The first team to win two rounds wins the match.

Goliath Clash 2.0: Prepare for even more mech mayhem with the addition of Goliath Clash 2.0, featuring support for more maps as well as changing the Silver Goliath to the Golden Goliath. This improved model carries two Death Machines at once to inflict substantial damage, paired with an infinite fire ability that temporarily improves fire rate while offering unlimited ammo capacity until the weapon must cooldown from the onslaught.

Armada map in CoD Mobile

The high seas confrontation that began with last season’s Armada Strike expands into a larger nautical battle with the full Armada map coming to Ground War. In this version, Operators fight across multiple ships as well as on the open water.

Strategically placed zip lines allow quick movement from ship to ship. If you’d rather take a more powerful form of transportation, hop into one of the map’s vehicles, including Helicopters, Hoverbikes, and the new Gunboat. Experience smoother vehicle gameplay with optimized deployment functions and user interface improvements. When things get desperate — or if you’re looking for a lower profile — you can always resort to a good old-fashioned swim.

Beef up your squad’s defenses with the new Kinetic Station Battle Royale class. Activate your ability to drop a kinetic armor producing stand that can be used by the whole team. The armor deflects incoming bullets across the whole body until the skill timer runs out or enough damage has been inflicted. Kinetic armor does not protect the Operator against melee, headshot, incendiary, or explosive damage, so watch for enemy snipers and incoming grenades. The stand itself can also be destroyed, so keep it safe from enemy interference.

Unlock the Kinetic Station Battle Royale class be completing the “Damage Denied” Seasonal Mission.

Acquire Etched Stones through completion of Multiplayer and Battle Royale matches, plus daily tasks and challenges. Use these stones to occupy nodes on the map, though take note: some nodes are more advantageous than others, so plan your path carefully for a handsome reward.

Complete new Seasonal Challenges and Events rewarding Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Battle Pass XP, and more, including the new Heartseeker attachment and the Kinetic Station Battle Royale class described above.

New Attachment: Attach the new Heartseeker to the Hades LMG to pinpoint the location of incoming enemies, a valuable tool for preventing unwanted flank attacks as you’re engaged against distant Operators.

Check the in-game Events tab throughout the season for more info, including Daily Missions rewards and Monthly Login incentives.
