Thermite grenades can help you eliminate overwhelming numbers of enemies in Apex Legends, and there’s a clever trick that you can use to hit your targets with precision through closed doors.

Each weapon in Apex Legends is perfect for different combat situations, and that also applies to explosives like grenades. If you want to corner your enemies or draw them out of their cover, then a Thermite Grenade will get the job done.

Sometimes, your opponents will take cover in concealed rooms, putting them out of harm’s reach. However, there’s a trick that lets you toss Thermites behind closed doors and get the jump on your foes.

When an enemy body-blocks the doors, it becomes much more difficult to reach them. Reddit user goinmool went on the Apex Legends subreddit and showcased a simple trick that you can use to get past this obstacle.

This tactic involves adjusting the angle of the grenade so that it clips through doors and lands on the other side. While this may sound challenging, you’ll be able to pull it off with a few trial runs in different matches.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Equip a Thermite grenade and hold your aim
  2. Line up the tracer line with the corner of the door
  3. Throw it and get to a safe distance before it detonates

This will make the explosive clip through the door and land inside, where your opponent will never see the attack coming until it’s too late. It will then force them out of their cover, and you’ll get to finish them off.

This is an excellent method of removing body-blocking enemies, but it also comes at the risk of the Thermite bouncing against the door and exploding near you if you’re not careful.
