Seer was one of the most notable additions in Apex Legends Season 10, but fans want a nerf for the overpowered Legend. Now, Respawn have confirmed that the planned nerf has been delayed.

Apex Legends Season 10 brought a plethora of exciting new content to EA’s battle royale phenomenon. The new Legend Seer has quickly dominated the meta, but the devs might have made him too powerful.

Respawn confirmed on August 10 that a nerf is planned for the character, but it seems that fans will have to wait a little longer for it to arrive. The devs have confirmed that the balancing change has been delayed.

According to Apex Legends developer, Josh Medina, Seer’s nerf will not be arriving until next week. Players will have to deal with the Legend’s current state while the devs fix some issues with the hotfix.

The planned changes will be implemented around August 26. The developers confirmed that Seer’s flash is set to be removed, along with a few other balance adjustments.

While’s Seer’s pick-rate has decreased, he’s still a solid choice in battle. Hopefully, the coming changes will improve his playability.

The problems with Seer range from his tactical interrupting heals to an overpowered passive tracking ability that lets players use “wallhacks.” You can also make his ultimate more powerful with a simple trick.

The fan response to the proposed changes has been divisive, with some stating that it’s unlikely for Seer to be properly balanced anytime soon. Others are more hopeful that Respawn will do fix all of his issues with this one nerf.

We’ll keep checking for updates regarding the Seer nerf, and be sure to check out the new Apex Legends Bangalore Edition.
