Sniping has already become a dying art in Warzone 2, but expert IceManIsaac has shown off a Sniper Rifle build that makes it a viable option on Al Mazrah once again.

Warzone 2 has dozens of weapons to experiment with, no matter how you choose to play. From all-purpose Assault Rifles to close-range SMGs, there’s a gun in Al Mazrah that suits your needs.

That being said, Sniper Rifles have come under fire since Warzone 2 launched back in November, as they’re far less powerful this time around compared to the original game. This is due mainly to the fact that most Snipers no longer one-shot enemies if they have full health and armor – even with a headshot.

Making Snipers a two-shot kill in Warzone 2 has caused many players to abandon the class altogether, but Warzone guru IceManIsaac has revealed a loadout set to make them “fall in love with sniping” all over again.

In his December 10 video, Isaac explained that with the right setup, the SP-X 80 is the best Sniper that Warzone 2 has to offer.

While there is no way to make the SP-X 80 a one-shot headshot, the YouTuber’s build focuses on speed to ensure that you can always land that crucial second hit and send enemies to the Gulag.

“I feel like I’m rocking the Kar98 again,” he explained while trying out the loadout in the firing range. “Even when I do headshot someone and they get a purple plate crack, because they have 250 health, the follow-up shots on this thing are so fast.”

Check out IceManIsaac’s best SP-X 80 loadout in Warzone 2 below:

IceManIsaac’s best SP-X 80 loadout in Warzone 2

  •  Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
  • Stock: Max DMR Precision
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip
  • Ammunition: .300 High Velocity

The SP-X 80 loadout is geared around improving the ADS speed, allowing players to quickly snap back onto their target after each shot. However, the key to unlocking its full potential lies in the tuning.

Isaac tuned the Schlager Match Grip and Max DMR Precision for maximum ADS speed, as well as aiming idle stability to keep it accurate even without having to hold your breath. Then, he adjusted the .300 High Velocity rounds for range and bullet velocity.

The Forge Tac Delta 4 was tuned to the furthest possible eye position, as well as slightly towards ADS speed, to make the SP-X 80 as accurate as possible. Lastly, the FSS OLE-V Laser can’t be tuned but it offers one last ADS speed boost, making the Sniper lighting fast.

Isaac admitted that the lack of power means we’re not quite back in the glory days of the Kar98k, but the blistering ADS times transform the SP-X 80 into the most viable Sniper Rifle in Warzone 2 right now.
