The Finals players fear game will grow “stale” without more modes

The Finals players are concerned that the game is becoming “stale” as they call for more game modes to “keep the game alive for longer.”

The Finals is still very fresh, but it continues to grow thanks to its exciting gameplay and unique game modes. Players can get very creative in The Finals, using various Gadgets, weapons, Specializations, and Contestant Builds to alter the map and gain an advantage on the enemy.

That said, the sheer creative freedom isn’t enough to sustain a playerbase over a long period, and players are already fearful that gameplay is becoming “stale,” as Redditor ‘Daddy_Sunhill’ called for the devs to add more game modes.

In their Reddit post, the player claimed that they “love” the game, and that they “play it everyday.” However, to “keep the game alive for longer,” they feel The Finals needs “more game modes.”

The OP suggested game modes such as “prophunt, tdm, king of the hill, and domination.” These more “casual” game modes would offer players a break from the intensity of Cashout and Bank It.

Others in the comments also agreed, as one user said, “Absolutely,” agreeing that the game needs “more modes (one with a bigger team size would be amazing),” while also suggesting that “more maps” would also help.

Another comment read, “Prop hunt in this game would actually be funny asf. Imagine trying to hide as a prop and an entire f**king building collapses around you,” clearly also advocating for a Prophunt mode in The Finals.

One player suggested that they would “like to see something similar to overwatch arcade game modes. all hammer, snipers only, swords only, capture the flag,” while another felt the game “needs more content in general. After a few hundred hours, I’m sure it will get stale.”

As one of the comments suggested, the game is only in its first season, so the devs will likely add a bunch of content as time goes on. However, it’s we don’t yet know how this content will materialize, so we’ll have to wait and see. For now, check out everything we know about The Finals Season 2.
